Our Story
Why we picked up the brushes.
Brunettes With Brushes is Bonny and Kerry — best friends first, business partners second. They met at the school gates when their daughters started at the same primary school, and a friendship built on playground pick-ups and paint charts slowly turned into a plan.
They kept hearing the same thing from customers: how rare it felt to have decorators who really listened, kept the house tidy and did exactly what they promised. So they built the company they’d always wanted to work for — no hierarchy, no boss, just two professionals who share the brushes, the decisions and the pride in every finish.

Co-Owner & Decorator
Our finisher and the eye of the pair. Bonny takes on the walls, ceilings and full-room transformations — and if you’re torn between two colours, she’s the one to ask. She won’t call a room done until it’s genuinely perfect.
Kerry
Co-Owner & Cutting-In Specialist
Our cutting-in specialist. Kerry is the queen of the crisp line — every edge razor-sharp and not a scrap of masking tape in sight.

From first chat to final inspection.
1. Consultation
We visit and listen — then send a clear written quote with no obligation.
2. Preparation
Furniture protected, surfaces filled, sanded and primed properly. Prep is 80% of a flawless finish.
3. Decorating
Careful cutting-in, even coats and a tidy workspace at the end of every day.
4. Final Inspection
We walk the finished job with you — and only call it done when you’re delighted.
